Body-Based Work
Long before we find words for what we’re carrying, the body has been holding it. These practices are ways of listening to that — of working with the body directly, not just thinking about it from a distance.
Each is offered as a standalone session in its own right. They can also be woven into therapeutic work, where it feels natural and right to do so.
“These practices sit alongside my therapy work — available to you individually, and available to be integrated into a deeper journey when the time is right.”
One-to-One Yoga
Most people who find yoga have been called to it by something — a restlessness, a need to feel more settled in themselves. That’s where the real work begins.
With over 15 years of teaching experience, I offer private, one-to-one yoga sessions that are tailored entirely to you. Sessions draw on Iyengar principles — precise, progressive, and deeply attentive to alignment — combined with my background as a counselling therapist and embodiment practitioner.
We work with the physical body, yes. But also with what the body is holding — the tension, the patterns, the stories that live in the muscles and breath long before they find words.
Sessions are held in my home studio in Morden, South West London — a quiet, private space by Cannon Hill Common.

What to expect
Whether you’re new to yoga, returning after time away, or looking to deepen an existing practice, sessions are shaped around where you are right now — not where you think you should be.
We work with props where helpful — blocks, belts, blankets, chairs — so that the postures serve you rather than the other way around. The pace is thoughtful, never rushed.
Sessions may include breathwork, stillness and gentle enquiry alongside the physical practice. It’s yoga as a full practice — not just the poses.
Reiki
Reiki is a gentle, non-intrusive Japanese healing practice that works with the body’s energy field. When life force becomes blocked — through stress, emotion, or experience — Reiki supports its natural return to flow.
As a Reiki Level 2 practitioner, I offer in-person treatments in my dedicated garden treatment room in Morden. You remain fully clothed throughout. I use traditional hand positions and subtle movements above the body to connect with where energy needs to move.
The effects vary from person to person — deep calm, a sense of release, increased clarity, or something harder to name but deeply felt. Every treatment is adapted to your needs.

Breathwork & Meditation
The breath is always available. It’s one of the most direct routes into the body — and one of the quickest ways to shift what’s happening in the nervous system.
I weave breathwork and meditation into much of my work — in yoga sessions, in Reiki, and in therapy where it’s helpful. These aren’t techniques to perform. They’re invitations to notice, to soften, to listen.
Breathwork and meditation as standalone practices are coming soon. In the meantime, they form part of every session I offer.
A note on integration
Each offering here is complete in itself — you don’t need to be in therapy with me to access them. They are available to anyone who feels drawn to this kind of body-based work.
Where it feels right, and where a client chooses, they can also become part of a deeper therapeutic journey — woven in at the moments when the body has something to say that words alone can’t reach.

Additional body-based practices will be added here as they become available.
These practices are offered separately from my therapy work, and do not constitute psychotherapy. They can, where appropriate, be integrated into an ongoing therapeutic journey. If you’re unsure which is right for you, feel free to get in touch and we can talk it through.
